The brief
Sports picks sites rarely show their record honestly. The idea behind EdgeBoard was the opposite: publish the number, explain it and keep score in public.
It had to be clear enough for a casual fan and transparent enough for someone who checks the math.
What I built
Every game, every league
Win probabilities for NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL games, updated from an open ratings model.
Why the number is the number
Each pick breaks down the factors behind it in plain language.
Timestamped picks
Predictions are published before the game and never changed afterward.
Calibration tracking
A running check of whether 60% picks really win about 60% of the time.
Free and Pro
The board is free. Pro adds the full reasoning, a record explorer and team email digests.
Where AI did the work
The ratings model, the calibration charts and the whole site were built with AI. It’s a good example of the data products I can build for any business that sits on numbers.
